LakeView Day Camp
LakeView Day Camp is a summer camp serving Middlesex County. It located in East Brunswick, New Jersey and has been open for almost eighty years. LakeView is situated on a 21-acre property distinguished as a wildlife heritage on Farrington Lake. LakeView caters to all age groups from 4 to 15 years old with individualized activities to develop confidence and support personal growth for each camper. Children’s fun and safety are our number one priority! Self-confidence, life long friendships, challenge and success are why campers return each summer. LakeView is not just a place you visit; it is a place you belong!
This summer camp serving Middlesex County caters to each age group from Preschoolers to Teens:
Our Kiddie Kastle program is for our youngest campers from preschool to Kindergarten. It offers a structured nurturing environment to develop social skills, build confidence and experience trying new things. Campers take a ride on the pontoon boats, receive instructional swim from licensed swim instructors in age specific heated pools, arts and crafts, sports, mad science, gymnastics and much more!
Our Main Camp program is for our 1st – 7th graders. It starts with a more structured schedule for younger campers and progresses to a “choice” based day where campers individually design a larger portion of their camp day.
Our Teen Camp program is for 7th – 9th graders. They fill their days at camp with 100% choice-based programming, with exciting opportunities from Sports Leagues, Theater and Set Design, to more technical activities such as video Editing, and much more. To top it off, once a week, teens enjoy day trips to destinations such as Camelback Adventure Park, Point Pleasant or Broadway to take in a show. The ultimate Teen experience is through our overnight trips. Great destinations, fun, and friendship lead to amazing growth in life skills, independence and maturity.
LakeView Leadership Program (LVLP), offers a select group the opportunity to learn the essential skills needed to be a LakeView staff member. Campers must apply for this 6-week minimum program that includes the full teen travel program and a daily choice activity schedule.

Challenge yourself on our NEW 800ft zipline and ropes course – multi-level, self-belayed obstacle course and 35 ft rock wall.
Have fun at our lakefront activities such as kayaking, canoeing, pontoons, paddle boarding, fishing, and our NEW sailing program.
We specialize in outdoor activities: learn about nature; explore and care for animals; develop your skills at archery, mountain biking, bungee trampoline; and have a blast on our Go Karts.
Our Pioneering program teaches campers about different plants, knot tying, camping survival skills, and of course, making the perfect s’more at our lakefront fire pit!

We offer amazing options for campers to develop their creativity and love for the arts! Take the stage in one of our extraordinary play performances, learn music, sing, or try your hand at pottery, cooking a delicious treat, weaving lanyards, make a coke rocket in mad science, create your own jewelry, or paint the next masterpiece!

Our world-class American Red Cross Instructional Swim Program takes place in our three heated swimming pools taught by certified Water Safety Instructors. LakeView’s swim program gives campers the opportunity to swim twice daily. Instructional swim lessons are given each morning, with bi-monthly progress reports sent home from your child’s swim instructor clearly indicating individual accomplishments throughout their summer!
The LakeView Instructional Swimming program calls for one period each day of Red Cross Instruction, with the second swim period of each child’s day utilized for “Free Swim” and other water related activities. All campers will work toward becoming Red Cross certified in swimming. Throughout the summer your child will work toward advancement in our 6 swim levels. Whether it’s a Beginner or an Advanced Swimmer, LakeView is the perfect balance of water safety and fun for everyone.
Delicious, balanced meals are included in this summer camp serving Middlesex County. Camper friendly hot meals are prepared on site, and we also have a wide variety of foods in our salad and deli bars. Fresh fruit is also available for our campers to snack on, and campers receive a special treat at the end of each day! Our kitchen staff, Division Leaders and counselors are adept at ensuring the safety of all campers. We will work with any parent to create individual eating plans from gluten free to kosher and any other allergy or special diet.
We pride ourselves on the safe nurturing community built on amazing staff and great leadership at this summer camp serving Middlesex County. All our staff are college age and above, with our specialty areas being run by teachers and professionals in that area. Camp has always been about friendship and memorable experiences that we can share with everyone.
