LakeView Day Camp
…is an all-inclusive summer camp in Middlesex County, conveniently located in East Brunswick, NJ. LakeView is situated on a 21-acre property distinguished as a wildlife heritage on Farrington Lake.

LakeView caters to all age groups from 4 to 15 years old with individualized activities to develop confidence and support personal growth for each camper.
Preschool – Kindergarten: At LakeView, Kiddie Kastle is a world where our youngest campers are nurtured and supervised in a safe environment by experienced Division Leaders and Counselors. Through sports, arts, play, swim and adventure, our youngest campers learn new skills using equipment and facilities designed just for them. Through positive communication, we foster a partnership between our family and yours.
First Grade – Seventh Grade: Main camp offers lasting friendships, increased confidence, and unending opportunities for unique challenges. The second through seventh grade programs introduce the concept of choice, the ability for campers to individually design a larger portion of their camp day with each returning summer. Though their years in main camp, campers experience exponential growth in a variety of activities made possible by the highly trained staff at every activity.
Seventh – Ninth Grade: Teens fill their days at camp with 100% choice-based programming, which allows for exhilarating opportunities like Sports League, Video Editing, Set Design and much more. Once a week, teens enjoy day trips to destinations such as Camelback Adventure Park or Broadway to take in a show. The ultimate Teen experience is through our overnight trips. Great destinations, fun and friendship lead to amazing growth in life skills, independence and maturity.
We pride ourselves on the safe nurturing community built on amazing staff and great leadership. All our staff are college age and above, with our specialty areas being run by teachers and professionals in that area. Camp has always been about friendship and memorable experiences that we can share with everyone. Among LakeView’s teachers, coaches and counselors, we have the maturity, dedication, energy and passion needed to create life changing summers. A huge part of creating these experiences is the qualified staff members that keep returning every year to LakeView, bringing back core values that they pass on to our campers. Many of our counselors grew up right here at LakeView; they truly care about our camp community and are committed to ensuring that each one of their campers has the best experience imaginable.
We specialize in outdoor activities at this all-inclusive summer camp in Middlesex County. We have many waterfront activities such as, SUP, canoeing, Kayaking and our new sailing program. Our brand new 800-foot zipline attaches to our Zip tower providing an amazing tool to build confidence and overcome fears. A multi-level self-belayed obstacle course, as well as 35-foot rock wall, belayed elements and bouldering wall. Whatever level the campers are, the dedicated staff will interact, and help them reach their potential.
We offer many of traditional camp sports such as Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Hockey and Gymnastics. These sports help campers feel like they belong to a team, develop skills and enjoy some healthy competition.
Our amazing creative and performing arts options will help campers develop their creativity and love for the arts. They can learn to make their own jewelry, learn a new dance, try their hand at pottery, or even make a coke rocket in mad science.
Our world-class American Red Cross Instructional Swim Program takes place in our three heated swimming pools taught by certified Water Safety Instructors. LakeView’s swim program gives campers the opportunity to swim twice daily. Instructional swim lessons are given each morning, with bi-monthly progress reports sent home from your child’s swim instructor clearly indicating individual accomplishments throughout their summer! Our LakeView Aquatic Staff is committed to the care and supervision of all swimmers.
We offer many special events here at camp. Some of our camper favorites are Carnival Day, Water Day, and Tribal Days. Campers love dressing up like Superhero’s, Rockstar’s and in their crazy hats for our fun theme days. They can show their love of LakeView on camp spirit day and have their friends sign their shirts on the last day of camp to keep memories of them forever. A delicious balanced is offered at this all-inclusive summer camp in Middlesex County. Camper friendly hot meals are prepared on site and are complimented with a salad and deli bar selection with options for all types of eaters. Our Division Leaders and counselors are adept at ensuring the safety of all campers. We will work with any parent to create individual eating plans from gluten free to kosher and any other allergy or special diet. Campers also receive fresh fruit snacks and a special treat at the end of the day.
Our Wellness Center is a modern, fully equipped office staffed with caring, full time registered nurses. The welfare of every camper and staff member is paramount. When it comes to health and safety needs, we treat your children as if they were our own.
Kari and Jon Grove are the Owners and Directors of LakeView Day Camp and are thrilled to call LakeView Day Camp their home. Owning a camp has always been a dream of theirs. Kari and Jon met while working at an overnight camp in the Poconos over 15 years ago, where Kari went on to be the Director of that camp, and Jon started working at LakeView Day Camp in as the Assistant Director. Kari and Jon took over as Owner/Director in 2018. Camp has always been about people, creating lasting friendships and building lifelong skills. LakeView has already given their family so much to look forward to “Living Camp, Loving Camp” with the extraordinary LakeView community.
